We are delighted to support the “Dancing for Diabetes” Charity Ball which will take place at the Fairmont Hotel and Golf Resort in St Andrews on Friday 6 March 2009. The event will include an exclusive cabaret performance by Camilla Dallerup and Ian Waite, two of the most popular dancers in the enormously successful BBC1 “Strictly Come Dancing” show, a three-course meal with wine, a grand auction and live music.

The event, which will be hosted by Lorraine Kelly, is being organised by the University of Dundee in aid of their Diabetes Research Campaign which has already raised over £2 million. Their goal is to raise £3.3 million to assit with further research into Type 1(childhood onset) diabetes research, to create a new state of the art diabetes research laboratory and to expand clinical research facilities across Perth, Angus and Tayside allowing more access by patients.
